Artisan Bread & Rolls

Landbrot

Country Rye Bread. Artisan German style rye bread with 60% rye content.   Seasoned with freshly ground bread spice ( fennel,  caraway,  anise, coriander berries). Bread spice can be omitted by request. 

1 loaf - Round and oblong shaped loaves depending on availability

Bauernbrot

Farmers Bread. Artisan German style bread made with a mix of rye and wheat flours. Carraway (seeds or ground) can be added if desired.

Rustikales Bergbrot

Rustic Mountain Bread - This rustic aromatic bread is made with a mix of wheat, rye and whole spelt or whole white wheat flours.  Bread spices are usually added but can be omitted by request.

Soft Pretzel Sticks. A Bavarian favorite known for its distinctive color and taste.
Also available as rolls or pretzels.

1 order equals 8 pretzel sticks (sprinkled with coarse salt).

Focaccia

This artisan, rustic Italian Focaccia bread is topped with coarse sea salt, rosemary and olive slices. Made with authentic Italian 00 flour it takes about 2-3 days to make this bread.  It's crumb is coarse, fluffy, juicy and flavorful with a thin crust.  

Focaccia is known as queen of Italian breads.

Urkorn Emmer Mehrkornbrot

Ancient Grain Emmer Multigrain Bread - This is an artisan multigrain bread with a moist crumb. It is made with freshly ground Emmer flour and a mix of whole spelt and red wheat flours. Emmer (aka Farro) is an ancient grain and has a rich, slightly nutty flavor. It is also considered high in protein and minerals compared to other grains and a good source of fiber. Together with multigrain flakes, sunflower seeds and pumpkin kernels makes this a healthy, delicious, aromatic bread choice.

Mehrkornbrötchen

Multi-grain rolls - In Germany  breads and rolls made from mixtures of different grains and flour are quite popular.  With added kernels on top and inside these hearty Multi-Grain-Rolls are also quite versatile and have a mellow crumb.  They are made with a mix of three different flours (wheat, rye, spelt). Use them as a hearty sandwich roll or enjoy sweet with jam or honey for breakfast.

Schnittbrötchen

German rolls. With their thin crust and fluffy inside they are perfect with jam as well as hearty spreads or cold cuts and cheese.  This roll is really versatile. Available plain, with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.

Kaisersemmel

Kaiser rolls - the classic! With it's star shaped top,  thin crust and fluffy inside this roll has it's origin in Austria. It is an all time favorite and a very versatile roll. Available plain,  with seeds or carraway/salt mix.

Ciabatta Rolls

Artisan Ciabatta Rolls - a popular Italian white bread with an open crumb.  Our rustic Ciabatta rolls are made from a mix of spelt and wheat flours and undergo a long cold fermentation process for that mild, slightly nutty flavor.
